Motion to approve Zoning Ordinance Amendment TLOA-2019-0002 Place of
Assembly Signs on the basis that the amendments further the objectives of the Town
Plan and that the proposal would serve the public necessity, convenience, general
welfare and good zoning practice to include the 75,000 square feet requirement per
the Planning Commission’s recommendation, marquee signs to be no lower than 15’
and that marquee signs are approved by Special Exception by approving Ordinance
2019-O-010 approving TLOA-2019-0002 to amend the Leesburg Zoning Ordinance
to establish unique Sign Guidelines for Places of Assembly.
