AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
A 2004 FORD EXPEDITION FULL SIZE UTILITY VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret requires a new 2004 Ford Expedition Full Size to
serve the residents of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret received two (2) bids as follows:
1. Wamock Automotive $29,694.00
2. Chas S. Winner, Inc. $25,867.00
WHEREAS, Chas S. Winner, Inc. submitted the lowest bid for said equipment as
evidenced by the response on file with the Borough Pumhasing Agent; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has reviewed the above bid proposals and
has recommended the award of a contract to Chas S. Winner, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Multi Chevrolet to furnish one (1) 2004 Ford
Expedition Full Size for the sum of $25,867.00, in accordance in all
respects with the request for proposals and bid on same.
