Motion Richardson, second Reeve to approve the printed minutes. • Ned and Ann Allen and Greg Allen were present to explain why they would like their property zoned to residential, single family. The recent school bond has been approved and the Allen believe that family homes in the area would be preferable to commercial along the Highway. Bartels believed he had always been commercial at his home. The older zoning and also the newer zoning maps show the Jim Bartels home as residential. Melvin Reeve asked if the Allen thought that Dorothy.Allen agreed with residential for this property and for her property that sits directly west of the Ned Allen property. Chad Freeman who is interested in the Dorothy Allen property, had signed the petition approving the change to residential at the Ned Allen property. Colvin felt that residential might be good across the highway from the new proposed high school buildings. Motion Reeve, second Colvin to recommend to the council that the Ned and Ann Allen property be rezoned to R-1 E, Residential single family estate with the recommendation contingent on the either Dorothy Allen or any new buyer rezoning the property along Hwy 6 to residential also.
