Ribbon Cutting for Jerry’s Downtown
Planned for Saturday, May 22, 2010
Leesburg, VA (May 17, 2010) ‐ At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2010, Town of Leesburg
officials will hold a ribbon cutting for Jerry’s Downtown, located at 14 South King Street in
Historic Downtown Leesburg.
Jerry’s Downtown is the second store operated by Jerry’s Flowers & Gifts owner Janet Tyson. A
family business, Jerry’s Flowers & Gifts has served Leesburg’s floral needs for 43 years. With
Jerry’s Downtown, Tyson seeks to provide her customers with additional convenience as well as
a shopping experience that focuses on service. Visitors can browse through a selection of floral
arrangements, both fresh and silk, fine house plants, gifts and other home décor or work
directly with the floral designer to create a memorable floral piece. Jerry’s Downtown also
features a Tea Room where visitors can sample fine teas and sipping chocolates before taking a
