The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met January 7, 2015, in the Small Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Bill
Luebbert at 5:05 p.m.
Approval of Minutes for November 5, 2014
A motion was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by Ray Fink to approve the minutes of
the November 5, 2014 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
Review License Applications
Michael K. Nelson requested to be approved to take the Master Exam. A motion was made by
Ray Fink and seconded by Dave Steinman to table the request until more hours could be
documented. Motion passed by show of hands.
New Business
A licensing question was discussed as to the number of apprentices that could be allowed to
work at one time for Austin Tipton, an electrical and plumbing contractor. A motion was made
by Dave Steinman and seconded by Jim Gooch that only 2 apprentices can be supervised at
one time. Motion passed with show of hands. This was referred to as a Gentleman's
Agreement until the new City code could be adopted.
Schedule Next Meeting
The next meeting was tentatively set for March 4, 2015.
Adjournment
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
