A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE INITIAL TERM
OF A CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD
AND NORTHERN BUILDERS, INC. DATED MAY 21ST, 2018
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield and Northern Builders, Inc. have heretofore entered
into a certain development agreement dated as of May 21st, 2018 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, Section 3.D.3 of the Agreement provides that Northern Builders, Inc. has
the right thereunder to request an eighteen month extension of the initial term of the Agreement
until May 21, 2021; and
WHEREAS, Northern Builders, Inc. has submitted a written request to the Village of
Plainfield for such an extension by letter dated as of September 5, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is amenable to granting the requested extension,
and finds that the grant of the same will further the purposes and aims of the Village as set forth
in the Agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Plainfield hereby approve
the request from Northern Builders, Inc. for an eighteen month extension of the term of the
Agreement until May 21, 2021
Section 2: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
