A special meeting of the Tiffin Planning,and Zoning was brought to order by Chair Dan O'Halloran,—
February 16,2000 at 6:30 pail'atthe TiffinFiire'Station.;Members:presents:`Dan O'halloan Tina Walls,

Special meeting to consider possible plans.for the 44 saes area on the northeast corner.of.the city. Ed Cole ,, ,-
visited with Planning and Zoning members regarding possible zoning inthe area The-City of Tiffin Land >°
,Use Planning Maps designates the area R=;1'. Ed was askiirg if he'could place R-2:and R-3.along the eastern
boundary of the 44 acres. Members of the Planning and Zoning indicated that they would have to see more
definite planning before iespondingto this re ',h4embers felt cor cn about placing high;density
housing adjacent to single family dwellings in the vicinity.°-Ed Cole explained that he did not desire to _ x
' building anything larger than 8-unit two stay housing for the area Members talked about a more specific
zoning designation called Residential 15-that would outline housing that would fill between R-2 duplex , •
- and R-3 multiple family as detailed in current Tiffin zoning
- Members indicated that they could accept the portion of his plans that-included R-1 as this conforms with
the current Land Use Plan. Members vwill hear more'detail d plans from Cole at the upcoming meeting.1.-, „
