TOWN OF LEESBURG
IN
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA

AMENDING THE TOWN CODE BY ADDING SECTION 15-58.1 AND
SECTION 19-47.1 TO LOWER UTILITY RATES FOR CERTAIN
ELDERLY HOMEOWNERS
ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia,
as follows:
SECTION I. The Town Code is hereby amended by adding a new
section to be numbered Section 15-58.1, to read as follows:
Sec. 15-58.1. Lower charge for certain elderly homeowners.
The charge for use of the sewer system to elderly
residents at their principal dwelling who annually qualify
for full exemption of town real estate taxes under Section
17-1.1 of the Town Code (Tax Relief for the Elderly) shall
be 75 percent of the established rate for premises inside
the town.
SECTION II. The Town Code is hereby amended by adding a
new section to be numbered Section 19-47.1, to read as follows:
Sec. 19-47.1.

SECTION III. An emergency is declared and this ordinance
shall be in effect from July 1, 1978.
