TOWN OF LEESBURG
IN
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA
PRESENTED September 13, 1978

ADDING A NEW SECTION TO ARTICLE 11 OF THE TOWN
CODE REGARDING CONSTRUCTION NOISE
ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia,
as follows:
SECTION I. The Town Code is hereby amended by adding a
section, to be numbered 11-17.1, to read as follows:
Section 11-17.1. Construction and Equipment Noise.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or
cause to be operated, any equipment used in construction,
repair, alteration, or demolition work on buildings,
structures, streets, alleys or appurtenances thereto in
the outdoors between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.
of the following day.
(b) This section shall not apply to employees or agents
of the town engaged in the construction, repair, alteration
or demolition of town property or facilities.
