Police Personnel Board
Minutes—February 5, 2015
The meeting was called to order at 12:01pm.
Eight persons attended as follows:

Following greetings, roll call was taken.
Approval of January 8, 2015 minutes
It was moved by Dillon and seconded by Bledsoe that the minutes for the January 8th meeting be approved. The motion
was carried unanimously.
Old Business
Communication Testing - Lt. Stiefermann confirmed the testing for Communication Operator is scheduled for February
25th at 6:00 p.m.
Police Officer Testing – Lt. Stiefermann confirmed the testing for Police Officers is scheduled for March 7th at 9:00 a.m.
and 1:00 p.m.
Mr. Derks went over the testing schedule and confirmed the specific Board members that are assigned to be proctors for
each testing time as listed above.
Chief Schroeder announced that there are two positions available currently for Police Officer and one Communications
Operator.
New Business
Vacancy for Personnel Board –Due to the unexpected death of Personnel Board member George Minze who will be
missed greatly, there is a vacancy on the Board. This will be discussed further at the next meeting.
Chief Schroeder announced that Mr. Bledsoe and Ms. Turner’s current term on the board has expired and that they have
both agreed to serve another term.
Lt. Stiefermann announced that there is currently an opening for Veterinarian at the animal shelter and applications are
being accepted to fill this position. Applications will be accepted through February 25th, 2015.
Next Meeting Date- the next meeting is March 12th, 2015.
It was moved by Ms. Dillon and seconded by Derks for adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 12:39.
