JOINT MEETING
Wednesday, June 28, 2000
6:30 p.m. Tiffin Fire Station
A special meeting of the Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission and the Tiffin City
Council was brought to order by Mayor Glenn R. Potter at 6:15 p.m. at the Tiffin Fire
Station. Planning and Zoning members present: Sandy Huedepohl, Melvin Reeve, and
Terry Richardson. Absent: Steve Berner and Tina Walls. Tiffin City Council members
present: Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, and Karin Dils. Absent: Rodney Walls, and Mike
Ryan. Also present: Engineer Mike Hart, Ed Cole, Jerry Strawn and Doug Frederick.
Ed Cole explained that they are interested in bringing a subdivision of approximately 135
acres in-on the west side of the city just,east ofthe electrical substation south and north ofl4
Highway#6. Ed expects that plans would include R-1 on the north side of the highway
and multiple family on the south of the highway. He would like commercial zoning
immediately along each side of the highway.
No action taken during this meeting.
Meeting adjourned 7:35 p.m.
