Tiffin City Planning and Zoning Commission November 7,
2001
A regular meeting of the Tiffm Planning and Zoning Commission was brought to order
by Chair Steve Berner at 6:30 p.m. at the Tiffm Fire Station, Wednesday,November 7,
2001. Members present: Steve Berner, Terry Richardson and Dave Shaffer. Absent:
Tina Walls and Melvin Reeve.
Motion Shaffer, second Richardson to approve printed mintues. Ayes: Richardson,
Berner, and Richardson. Absent: Walls and Reeve. Motion carried.
Mick McGrew present to visit with Planning and Zoning regarding possible options for
subdivision work in his parcel south of Hwy#6 west of Kimberlite Street(correction:
east of Stephans and north of Kimberlite). Mick is presently thinking about R-1 parcels
along the west side of his ground. Members mentioned that McGrew would need to
review his written covenants attached to his property, that he would need to obtain
engineering assistance and that the culv-de-sac plans outlined would probably need
increase in size to allow fire truck maneuver in the single family area that McGrew is
thinking about.
Work on zone plans for the I-80 exit area.
Members agreed that all zones should be reviewed in the future for addition of new zones
Motion Richardson, second Shaffereto adjourn. Motion carried.
