AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING
RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND EASEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH LOTS 30 THROUGH 34 OF THE TRAILS OF
KAUFFMAN HILLS SUBDIVISION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby declares it necessary,reasonable
and proper to discontinue and forever vacate the following rights-of-way and easements associated with
Lots 30-34 of The Trails of Kauffman Hills Subdivision:
ALL OF THE KAUFFMAN HILLS COURT RIGHT-OF-WAY, ALL OF THE NOB HILL
RIGHT-OF-WAY,AND ALL EASEMENTS, INCLUDING SANITARY SEWER,GENERAL
UTILITY, STORM DRAINAGE,AND ANY COMBINATIONS THEREOF,ASSOCIATED
WITH LOTS 30 THROUGH 34,AS DEDICATED BY THE OWNER'S CERTIFICATE ON
THE PLAT OF"THE TRAILS OF KAUFFMAN HILLS SECTION THREE", RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 12, PAGE 593, COLE COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE, COLE
COUNTY, MISSOURI. THE SAID "THE TRAILS OF KAUFFMAN HILLS SECTION
THREE" IS A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE
SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 9,TOWNSHIP 44 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST,
IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, COUNTY OF COLE, MISSOURI.
Section 2. The rights-of-way and easements described in Section 1 and shown on Exhibit A,
attached hereto and made a part of this Ordinance, are hereby relinquished, and the City does hereby
release and abandon whatever interest it has in the properties. The statutory rights of reversion for the
owners of the abutting properties are hereby confirmed,as is provided by the laws of the State of Missouri.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute any necessary
legal documents required to confirm the relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tracts described in
Section 1, and confirming the reversionary rights of the owners of the properties abutting the areas being
vacated as described in Section 1.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the date of its
passage and approval. / /
