ProJet Aviation Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting
Scheduled for Wednesday, June 2, 2010
Leesburg, VA (May 27, 2010) ‐ At 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, Town of Leesburg officials
will hold a ribbon cutting for ProJet Aviation’s new location at 957 Sycolin Road SE at the Leesburg
Executive Airport.
ProJet Aviation, a Metro‐DC area aircraft management and worldwide charter company, opened the Jet
Center at Leesburg Executive Airport in January 2010. A Washington Business Journal “Best Place to
Work”, ProJet Aviation specializes in private jet management, worldwide charter flights, aviation
consulting and acquisition services. Six corporate aircraft are already based at the facility, which
features over 25,000 square feet of hangar and office space. In addition to ground and flight support for
corporate aircraft, ProJet provides jet fuel services at Leesburg through a distribution agreement with
AvFuel. The new location is an expansion of the company’s existing flight operations in Winchester and
Manassas, Virginia.
Over 200 people are expected to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and reception, which will be held
in the Jet Center Hangar from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Guest speakers for the event include entrepreneur and
philanthropist Sheila C. Johnson, Virginia State Senator Jill Holtzman Vogel, Loudoun County Supervisor
Kelly Burk, Leesburg Mayor Kristen C. Umstattd, and Executive Airport Director Timothy B. Deike.
