AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING SECTION 2.1-2 OF THE TOWN CODE
ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Section 2.1-2 of the Town Code is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2.1-2. Airport commission created.
The Leesburg Airport Commission consisting of six members and hereinafter
called the "commission" is created. The members shall be appointed by the
council for terms of four years each beginning on July 1st of the year of appoint-
ment. An appointment to fill a vacancy shall be for the unexpired term. A mem-
ber of council shall be appointed by council ee serve as ~e~sem w~eh a votin~
member of the commission mm~ for a term concurrent with the member's term of
office.
The commission shall elect its convenor annually and may elect one of its
members as its secretary. The commission shall meet monthly or as determined
by the commission.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage.
