Call to Order
The Plumbing Board of Review & Examiners met January 20, 2015, in the Small Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Rick Hunt
at 4:35 p.m. A quorum was present.
Approval of Minutes for the September 22, 2014 meeting.
A motion was made by Gary Michel and seconded by Jerry Raithel to approve the minutes of
the September 22, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
Topics to Discuss
a. Submit Applicants Requiring Master or Journeyman Exams.
Jason Long submitted his application to take the Journeyman exam. The Board accepted his
application.
b. Dual Licensed Contractors and Their Apprentices
A contractor who currently holds a Masters license in Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical is
wanting two apprentices in Plumbing and two apprentices in the Electrical trade. The Board
decided that he could have two apprentices in one trade or the other, but not both. It was their
opinion that the Master could not adequately supervise two apprentices in each trade at the
same time.
c. Motion to Adopt 2012 Plumbing Codes
The Board discussed moving forward in adopting the 2012 ICC Plumbing Code. There were no
objections from the Board members who were present.

There was a discussion about allowing the new cpvc pipe and fittings pending further research.
Adjournment
With no further business Jerry Raithel moved and Gary Michel seconded to adjourn the meeting
at 6:20 p.m. The motion passed unanimously.
