The Medina City Council adopted Ordinance #167 and 169, governing overweight vehicles on city streets which gives the public Works Director authority to set restrictions. His decision not to issue any permits this year was based on last years damage to city roads by people issued permits who denied doing any damage. He said the City Council should make the decision how to deal with the problem. Bill Clelland explained that we develop a criteria to treat all persons equally and fairly when setting standards for using city roads. Bob Mitchell, attorney for Harold pederson, appreciated the calling this special meeting and stated Harold and Reg Pedersons problems with not being able to use the city roads, and the fact that they stand to lose some accounts that are customers all summer lon.
