ORDINANCE NO. 82-0-18 ADOPTED May 12, 1982
AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING THE TOWN CODE BY ADDING NEW SECTION 7-39, JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS
ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Chapter 7, Article II of the Town Code is amended by adding Section
7-39, Junior Firefighters as follows:
Sec. 7-39. Junior Firefi~hters.
Any person 16 years of age or older, with parental or guardian approval, may
work with or participate fully in all activities of a volunteer fire company, pro-
vided such person has attained certification under National Fire Protection Associa-
tion 1001, level one, firefighter standards as administered by the Virginia Depart-
ment of Fire Programs.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in effect on July 1, 1982.
