AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING SECTION 10-41 AND 10-42 OF THE TOWN CODE.
ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Sections 10-41 and 10-42 of the Town Code are amended to read
as follows:
Sec. 10-41. Amount of fee, where fee paid and license purchased.
The amount of the license fee imposed by this article shall be
$½~v00 $20.00 for automobiles and trucks and ~8T0~ $15.00 for motor-
cycles. The license fee shall be paid to and the license purchased
from the office of the ~ewm-~eea~ee~ Director of Finance.
Sec. 10-42. Proration of fee.
In the event that any person makes application for a motor vehicle
license under the provision of this article after the 15th day of Oct-
tober but before the 1st day of January the license fee shall be one
half the initial fee. Application for a motor vehicle license after
the 1st day of January of the license year shall be one ~h~e~ fourth
of the initial fee.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective on and after September 1, 1982.
