ORDINANCE NO. 3251-1977
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF
THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1978 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1978, INCLUSIVE, INCLUDING
ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL
TAKE EFFECT.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
That for the expenses of the City Government for the fiscal year beginning
January 1, 1978 and ending December 31, 1978, inclusive, thereby and thereis hereby
appropriated and set apart out of the funds herein named and for the purpose herein
specified subject to all laws governing the same amount here and after named, such
sums herein appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to
be made during the period herein specified unless otherwise expressly stipulated
and provided by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1978 and ending
December 31, 1978, inclusive, there is hereby appropriated out of the Cumulative
Capital Improvement Fund "Cigarette Tax" the following:
PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE - $ 300,000.00
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage by
the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, signature of the President
of Common Council affixed, submission to and approval by the Mayor of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, publication as required by law and approval of all Statutory
Boards as required by the laws of the State of Indiana.

day of 1977.
