To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from Road Machinery General Fund the sum of Seventeen Hundred Dollars ($1 ,700.00) to be used for the purchase, maintenance and operation of Road Machinery. Voted unanimously that the Town appropriate from the Road Machinery General Fund the sum of Seventeen Hundred Dollars ($1700.00) to be used for the purchase, maintenance and operation of Road Machinery. ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to sell the present Rescue Squad Vehicle when declared surplus by the Fire Department. Voted unanimously that the Town authorize the Selectmen to sell the present Rescue Squad Vehicle when declared surplus by the Fire Department. AitTIC:LE 4. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of Eleven Hundred Dollars ($1 ,100.00) for a full time accountant's salary. Voted unanimously that the Town appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of Eleven Hundred Dollars ($3 ,100.00) for a full time accountant's salary. ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of Nine Hundred Eighty Six Dollars and Ninety Five Cents ($9$6.95) for payment of unpaid bills for 1970, School Department. Voted unanimously that the Town appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of Mine Hundred Eighty Six Dollars and Ninety Five Cents ($9$6.95) for payment of unpaid balls for 1970, School Department. ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the„ sum of Thirty Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) to maintain the Town Dump for the remainder of 1971 . Voted unanimously that the Town appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of Thirty Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) to maintain the Town Dump for the remainder of 1971 . ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will approve of the action of the Water Commissioners of the Town of Orleans to provide water service to certain taxpaying inhabitants of the Town of Brewster residing within the following boudary lines, to wit-.- Northeasterly by the Town line of Orleans-Brewster, a distance of about one thousand five hundred (1 ,500) feet; easterly by Harwich Road (Route 39) by the Town line, a distance of about five (5000) feet; again northeasterly by the Orleans Brewster Town lane, a distance of about three thousand seven hundred fifty (3,750) feet, easterly by waters of Pleasant Bay, southerly by the Harwich-Brewster Town line, a distance of about five thousand six hundred (5,600) feet, and westerly by a line parallel to and distant one thousand five hundred (1 ,500) feet westerly from the westerly side line of Harwich Road (Route 39) a distance of about nine thousand five hundred (9,500) feet. ARTICLE S. To see if the Town will vote to take from the Road Machinery General Fund a sum of money to purchase a body type sander. Voted unanimously that the Town transfer from the Road Machinery General Fund the sum of Twenty Three Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars ($2,369.00) to purchase a body type sander. Q ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars (1 ,500.00) to install highway bounds in the new road layouts of Red Top Road, L. Percie Newcomb Road and Underpass Road. Voted unanimously that the Town: appropriate from fres cash in the Treasury the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1 ,500.00) to install highway bounds in the new road layouts of Red Top Road, A. Percie Newcomb Road and Underpass Road. ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will vote to amend the building code by-law as follows: Section 8, delete the follokry ng words: 111 . No building shall be constructed within thirty (30) feet of the line of a street or way. 2. No building shall be constructed within twenty (20) feet of any property line. 3. On a parcel of land of single ownership, no building for human habitation shall be constructed within forty (40) feet of any other building for human habitation.1' Voted unanimously that the Town amend the building code by-law as follows: "1 . No building shall be constructed within thirty (30) feet of the line of a street or way. 2. No building shall be constructed within twenty (20) feet of any property line. 3. On a parcel of land of single ownership, no building for human habitation shall be constructed within forty (40) feet of any other building for human habitation." ARTICLE 11 . To see if the Town will vote to amend the building code by-law as follows: Section 3, paragraph 3, delete the words "No permit shall be issued if a building for human habitation contains less than 600 square feet on the first floor for each family or 600 square feet on each floor in a two-story two family dwelling, excluding breezeways and garages'* and add the following words: "No permit shall be issued if a single family dwelling contains less and 768 square feet of living area on the first floor of a one-story dwelling or a total of 768 square feet on the two floors of a 1J story or 2 story dwelling, excluding attics, breezeways, garages, and cellars or in the case of a duplex dwelling if it contains less than 600 square feet in each unit of the duplex dwelling, excluding attics, breezeways, garages and cellars". Voted unanimously that the town amend the building code by-law as follows: Section 3, paragraph 3, delete the words 'TNo permit shall be issued if a building for human habitation, contains less than 600 square feet on the first floor for each family or 600 square feet on each floor in a two-story two family dwelling, excluding breezeways and garages"' and add the following words: "No permit shall be issued if a single family dwelling contains less than 766 square feet of living area on the first floor of a one-story dwelling or a total of 7. 68 square feet on the two floors of a 1i story or 2 story dwelling, excluding attics, breezeways, garages, and cellars or an the case of a duplex dwelling if it contains less than 600 square feet in each unit of the duplex dwelling, excluding attics, breeneways, garages and cellars." ARTICLE 12. To see if the Town will vote to install and maintain street lights on the following streets: Pole 75/3 on Robinson Road, Pole 1.43/12 on ,Jonathan `way and Pole 6/10 on Route 124. Voted unanimously that the Town install and maintain street lights on the following streets: Pole 75/3 on Robinson road, Pole 143/12 on ionathan way and Pole 6/10 on Route 124. ARTICLE 13.
