AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERINGSERVICES / T & M ASSOCIATES FOR $10,000.00 FOR
THE 2002 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is'in need of professional engineering
services with regard to the 2002 Road Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's consulting engineer, T & M Associates, possesses
the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, T & M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said
engineering services for a total amount not to exceed $10,000.00, pursuant to the
firm's existing contract with the Borough; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the above referenced proposal from T & M Associates for
engineering services related to the 2002 Road Improvement
Program at a cost not to exceed $10,0000.00 based upon the hourly
rate set forth in the firm's existing contract with the Borough is
hereby approved;
2. That annexed hereto is a copy of the proposal;
3. That this action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract.
Adopted this 18th day of December, 2003
and certified as a true copy of the
original on December 19, 2003.
