HomeMy Public PortalAbout15516 Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (11731)ORDINANCE NO. 15516 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Fifteen Million Dollars ($15,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (11731) in the Cities of Clayton, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Maplewood, Webster Groves, and Shrewsbury, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 20437 with SAK Construction, LLC, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14712, adopted August 10, 2017, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20437; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Fifteen Million Dollars ($15,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (11731) in the Cities of Clayton, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Maplewood, Webster Groves, and Shrewsbury, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 20437 with SAK Construction, LLC, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction in Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (11731) in the Cities of Clayton, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Maplewood, Webster Groves, and Shrewsbury, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 12, 2020.
