HomeMy Public PortalAbout15521 Riverport 6 Pump Station (P-781) Rehabilitation (12188)ORDINANCE NO. 15521 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,150,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Riverport 6 Pump Station (P-781) Rehabilitation (12188) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21953 with Kelpe Contracting, Inc. for pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is One Million Forty-Five Thousand Four Hundred Ten Dollars ($1,045,410.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Four Thousand Five Hundred Ninety Dollars ($104,590.00); WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Riverport 6 Pump Station (P-781) Rehabilitation (12188) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21953 with Kelpe Contracting, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Riverport 6 Pump Station (P-781) Rehabilitation (12188) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 16th day of September, 2020. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 12, 2020.
