AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Ninety Thousand Dollars
($90,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in
Wilborn Drive #5361 Storm Sewer (11430) in the City of Jennings, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into Contract No. 21950 with Enterprise Sewer & Drain for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Sixty-Five Thousand Two
Hundred Sixteen and 12/100 Dollars ($65,216.12) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Twenty-Four Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Three and
88/100 Dollars ($24,783.88); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in storm sewer
construction in Wilborn Drive #5361 Storm Sewer (11430) in the City of Jennings, Missouri; said
contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21950
with Enterprise Sewer & Drain, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in
Wilborn Drive #5361 Storm Sewer (11430) in the City of Jennings, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received on the 10th day of September, 2020.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 12, 2020.
