AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1990 -18
BEING THE 1991 SALARY ORDINANCE FOR THE
CITY OF GREENCASTLE
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City
of Greencastle, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 1990 -18, "An Ordinance
Establishing The Size of Departments Of City Government For the
city of Greencastle, Indiana, Affixing Salaries For the Employees
Of Such Departments For The Year Of 1991 And Affixing Salaries Of
Certain Other Elected And Appointed Officials For The Year Of 1991"
is hereby amended as follows:
1. Section two is amended to read as follows:
SECTION TWO That the Police Department shall consist of
eighteen (18) full -time members and in addition, one (1) part -time
dispatcher, and five (5) part -time school crossing guards. Base
pay ranges, including the maximum, shall be as follows:
P5- Police Chief
P5- Assistant Chief
P4- Captain (3)
P3- Sergeant (3)
P2- Patrolmen (4)
P1- Parking Violations Ofc.
C3- Police Secretary
School Crossing Guards (5)
($9.25 per day each)
Longevity Total
Dispatchers (4)
Dispatcher, Part -time (1)
($5.50 per hour)
