ORDINANCE NO. 84-0-30 ADOPTED July 25~ 1984
AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING THE LEESBURG ZONING MAP IN RE #ZM-48
WHEREAS, Rezoning Application #ZM-48 by Lawrence N. Grant was referred to
the Planning Commission on March 21, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on #ZM-48 on April 19,
1984; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a resolution recommending approval
of the rezoning request; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council held a public hearing on #ZM-48 on July 25, 1984;
and
WHEREAS, the applicant's written proffer was presented to Council prior to the
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, #ZM-48 is required by the public necessity, convenience, general
welfare and good zoning practice:
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The Leesburg Zoning Ordinance is amended to revise the zoning
district map to change from R-2 to B-2 the 14,375 square feet shown on a plat pre-
pared by Chamberlin Associates dated March 6, 1984 subject, however,, to the fol-
lowing condition proffered by the applicant pursuant to Sections 15.1-491.1
through 15.1-491.6 of the Code of Virginia, as amended:
The applicant agrees to eliminate the following uses: Filling station,
drive-in eating places, sheet metal shop, frozen food locker, dry clean-
ing plant, laundry, building materials sales, milling and grinding and
feed stores.

PASSED this
This ordinance shall be in effect on August 25, 1984.
