AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 3268-1977
AN ORDINANCE TO'AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1781-1960 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
CONCERNING PARKING REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Division of the Police Department has recommended
that Chapter 41, Article XIII, Section 41.78 of the Richmond Municipal
Code be amended to include non self-propelled mobile units; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety has unanimously approved
the above change;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMDN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. Chapter 41, Article XIII, Section 41.78 of the Richmond
Municipal Code be amended by deleting the following words "no person
shall park a vehicle on any street for a continuous period of time
longer than.:24 hours".
SECTION 2. That Chapter 41, Article XIII, Section 41.78 of the Richmond
Municipal Code shall read "No person shall park, cause to be parked'or
permit to be parked, any vehicle of any size, with or without motive
power, including but not limited to mobile campers, boats, boat
trailers, trailers, wagons or any other vehicle designed for the
conveyance of personas, property or animals, for a period"of time'. -
'which shall be more- than 24 conti,nuous, hours
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval and publication as by law
required.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Co on Council of the City of Richmond,
