AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3120-1976, AS AMENDED, REGULATING
THE TRAFFIC ON THE STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Traffic Division of the Police Department of the City
of Richmond, Indiana has determined that certain changes in the
traffic pattern would expedite the flow of traffic in the City of
Richmond, Indiana; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City of Richmond,
Indiana does recommend that this change be made;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. Chapter 41, Article VII, Section 41.39 of the Richmond
Municipal Code be amended as follows:
The North/South alley between the service drive and South
7th Street and South 8th Street be a two-way alley.
SECTION 2. That the North/South alley between the service drive
South of the Promenade and South "A" Street located between South
9th Street and South loth Street be a two-way alley.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval'and publication as by law
required.
