A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECT - ENGINEER SERVICES OF
FICKES & FICKES RE DESIGN OF CITY HALL USING
EXISTING LIBRARY FACILITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to proceed with the
utilization of the present County Library Facility as a City
Hall, the construction of the new County Library nearing com-
pletion pursuant to the Joint Powers Agreement with the County
of Los Angeles relating thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor, the City Manager and the City
Attorney are hereby authorized to execute that certain agree-
ment submitted to the City Council by Fickes & Fickes, a copy
of which agreement is attached to this Resolution, marked
Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though set forth in full.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 27th day of May, 1963.
