AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to lease to Sentry Security certain
real property of the District in the City of St. Louis, Missour i for use as a parking lot, and to execute
a Lease Agreement upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out.
WHEREAS, the use of said property as herein specified will not interfere with any
District operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized and directed to lease to Sentry
Security, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out, for use as a parking lot, the following
described real property of the District in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, to wit:
A 6.00 FOOT WIDE STRIP across Part of Maline Creek Local Storage Facility Lot
Consolidation as recorded in Book 04222016, Page 0183 of the City of St. Louis, Missouri
Recorder of Deeds Office and being more particularly described as follows:
A 6.00 FOOT WIDE STRIP lying westerly and adjacent and parallel with the eastern line
of said Maline Creek Local Storage Facility Lot Consolidation, bounded on the South by
the southern line of Maline Creek Local Storage Facility Lot Consolidation and bounded
on the North by the northern line of said Maline Creek Local Storage Facility Lot
Consolidation.
Section Two. The lease shall be for an initial term of five (5) years, commencing
January 1, 2021 and terminating December 31, 2025, at the rental of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per
month, with one (1), five-year option to renew the lease upon the expiration of the initial term on
the same terms and conditions.
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Lease
Agreement giving effect to Sections One and Two of this ordinance hereof, and embodying such
other terms and conditions as approved by the Office of General Counsel of the District.
Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on December 10, 2020.
