AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3,
1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is part of Ordinance No.
2325-1968, designates and describes as 0-1 Greenbelt District and R-3
One -to -Eight Family Residence District, the following described pro-
perty located at 2100 North "J" Street, in the City of Richmond,
Indiana more particularly described as follows:
Being a part of the Noartheast Quarter of Section 33, Town-
ship 14 North, Range 1 West, City of Richmond, Wayne County,
Indiana, and more particularly described below:
Commencing at the assumed northeast corner of said quarter
and being the point of intersection of the centerline of
the New Paris Pike road with the center line of North 24th
Street and further being 11.5 feet north 0 degrees 22
minutes 1 second east of a spike in the interesection of
said roads; thence south 0 degrees 22 minutes 1 second
west, along the center line of North 24th Street, 418.48
feet to a point which is the place of beginning of this
description; thence south 0 degrees 22 minutes 1 second
west 347.29 feet along the centerline of said North 24th
Street; thence north 89 degrees 37 minutes 59 seconds
west 33.534 feet to a point on the north line of Lot 167
in Morton Park Addition; thence south 85 degrees 0 minutes
51 seconds west 76.168 feet along the cord of an arc to
the left and the north line of said Lot 167; thence south

southwest corner of Lot 165 of said addition; thence

seconds east, along the east line of North 17th Street, to
a point 50 feet south of the south bank of the east fork
of the Whitewater River; thence, along a line 50 feet from
the river bank in an easterly direction to the intersection
of said line with the extended west line of Lot 215 in
Norton Lake and Park Add.; thence southwardly to a point
237 feet south 00 degrees 22 minutes west of the southwest
of said Lot 215; thence south 85 degrees 50 minutes east
831.82 feet to'the place of beginning, containing an area
of 28.8734 acres.

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the
zoning classification on the above described area from 0-1 Greenbelt
District and R-3 One -to -Eight Family Residence District to M-2 General
Industrial District, and,
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the
Richmond City Plan Commission the � -Y day of ,
1977, at which time remonstrances were heard from all parties interested
in or affected by this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was
Z_ to b in favor of/' recommending the
passage of Ordinance No. 3293-1977.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the
above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to M-2 General
Industrial District, and that said property be regulated in accordance
with the zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and all
amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as by law required.
SECTION 7. The original zoning classification of the aforementioned area
is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification of this area will be
in accordance with Section 2 of this Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,

Robfam Ranch Inc., requesting zoning be changed from
0-1 and R-3 to M-2
Dear Mr. Cat^ter.,Members of the Council and Mrs. Trimble:
The Richmond City Plan Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday,
November 22, 1977, in the Council Chambers of the Richmond Municipal
Building to hear the request of Robfam Ranch Inc. & Frank J. and
Marianne Robinson, 419 Beelor Road, asking for a change of zoning
from 0-1 Greenbelt and R-3 One -to -Eight Family Resident District
to M-2 General Industrial District on property located at 2100
North "J" Street.
There were no remonstrators in favor of or against this petition.
Twenty-two letters had been sent to adjoinin property owners and
three (3) were returned in favor and zero (03 in opposition.
It was the unanimous vote of all Plan Commission Members, seven (7)
to zero (0) to allow this change of zoning. Commissioners Bartz
and Tiano were absent.
