ADDENDUM #1
LIGHTHOUSE ARE SEWER PROJECT PHASE II
DUE: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2021 by 2:00pm
The following information should be considered in preparation of responses to the above named Invitation
to Bid, and is hereby incorporated into the original ITB document.
All other terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements as noted in the original ITB remain
unchanged and must be met.
PART I – GENERAL:
This Addendum has been issued on behalf of the City of Tybee Island. Attached at the end of this Addendum
is the Bid Form. Bidders should refer to the City’s webpage for additional information, updates, or addenda
for the project at https://www.cityoftybee.org/bids.aspx?bidID=90.
The following information should be considered by prospective bidders in preparation of their proposals
and are hereby incorporated into the Proposal Documents. Bidders shall be responsible for acknowledging
receipt of this addendum in the Proposal Form, Document 00313. Failure to do so will result in the proposal
being considered non–responsive.
PART II – QUESTIONS/COMMENTS:
1. Can Bid Form be enlarged to allow form to be filled out properly?
Bid Form has been enlarged to make line items more visible and to provide adequate room for the
form to be filled out properly.
2. Where is Division III in the current set of plans?
The Division III plan sheet can be found at the end of the Special Conditions section of the contract
documents.
3. Pavement replacement detail indicates entire street will be overlayed. Bid quantities do not
reflect that.
Original Bid will include line items for pavement replacement within each division as shown in
detail on sheet C2.2 of the plans. Alternative bid item 10, “Resurface Roadway,” has been added
to bid form for longitudinal cuts exceeding 150 feet in length as stated in pavement replacement
detail on sheet C2.2.
PART III – CONTRACT DOCUMENTS:
The Proposal Documents shall be changed in the following respects:
Section 00313 – Bid Form
Section 00313 has been revised. Add line items 1 – 4 to Alternative Bid Items:

*Original bid will include line items for 4’ diameter manholes. Alternative Bid will include line items
for Predl Hybrid PVC Manholes in lieu of 4’ diameter manholes. Design documents for Predl
manholes will be provided.
Section 00313 has been revised. Add line item 10 to Alternative Bid Items:

* Original Bid will include line items for pavement replacement within each division as shown in
detail on sheet C2.2 of the plans. Alternative bid item 10, “Resurface Roadway,” has been added to
bid form for longitudinal cuts exceeding 150 feet in length as stated in pavement replacement detail
on sheet C2.2.
Any response to this ITB must have written on the outside envelope a certification by the bidder
that they acknowledge receipt of, and compliance with, this addendum.
