AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 3238-1977 COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE SALARY
AND
POSITION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA ADOPTED
AUGUST 1,
1977.
BE IT ORDAINED
by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1.
Department
of Community Development
1.
(3) Housing Inspectors @ $10,120 to be decreased to
(2) Housing Inspectors @ $10,120.
2.
(6) General Maintenance @ $9,735 be increased to
(7) General Maintenance
3.
The following positions be added and shall receive
the following salaries:
(2) Painters @ $9,735
(1) Lead Painter @ $10,275
(1) Youth Worker @ $9,000
SECTION 2.
Civil
City Engineering
1.
The salary of the position of secretary be increased
from $7,740 to $8,000.
SECTION 3.
Police
Department
1.
(2) General Maintenance @ $6,775 to be decreased
to (1) General Maintenance @ $6,775.
2.
(2) Security Guards @ $8,360. be increased to (3)
Security Guards @ $8,360.
3.
The following position;5e added and shall receive the
following salary:
(1) Body Repairman @ $9,635.
SECTION 4.
Park
Department
I.
Delete the position and salary of (1) Educational
Director @ $8,510.
2.
(13) Laborers @ $7,425. to be decreased to (10)
Laborers @ $7,425.
3.
(2) General Maintenance 12 @ $9,345. to be increased
to (3) General Maintenance #2 @ $9,345.
4.
(1) General Maintenance #1 @ $10,190. to be increased
to (3) General Maintenance #1 @ $10,190.
5.
(4) Playground Supervisors @ $6,815. to be decreased to
(3) Playground Supervisors @ $6,815.
6.
The following position to be added and shall receive
the following salary:
(1) ASsistant Mechanic @ $8,783.

SECTION 5. Motor Vehicle Highway
1. (31) Laborers @ $9,125 to be decreased to
(28) Laborers @ $9,125.
2. The following positions to be added and shall receive
the following salaries:
Cl) Mechanic Helper @ $7`;140.
(1) Office Clerk @ $6,815.
SECTION 6. R.A.T.
1. The salary of the position of Transportation Coordinator
be increased from $5,565. to $7,140.
SECTION 7. Be it further ordained that this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
