ing of June 6, 1950 for the report on the development of the Graves
Tract should be sent at this time.
The audit for the nine months village operatlea was presented
to the council and approved.
Mr. Webb reported to the council that the budget for the fiscal
year of 1950-1951 was completed and outlined to the council what
it would be. The council. thereupon decided that they would meet
on Monday, July 24, 1950 to discuss thi.e blidge t.
On motion of Mr. Stokely, seconded by Mr. Simon:, the meeting
adjourned.

The Council of Bal Harbour Village net at the Administration
Building, Monday, July 24, 1950 at 8:15 o'clock P. M.
There were present: Messrs. Beatty, Graham, Jr., Simons and
S cokely.
Absent: Mr. Whittaker
Also present was Mr. W. H. Webb, Town Manager.
On motion of Mr. Simons, seconded by Mr. Stokely, the reading
of the minutes of the erevious meeting of July 17, 1950 was dis-
pensed with.
After discussion, the budget for the fiscal year of 1950-1951
was adopted ee presented by the Town Manager together with an
increase of $1,200.00 in the manager's salary.
Thereupon on motion of Mr. Beatty, seconded by Mr. Stokely,
the follokingresoli.tion, entitled;

"A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF BAL
HARBOUR VILLAGE, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A
BUDGET FOR THE SAID VILLAGE FOR THE
PERIOD OF OCTOPI'? 1, 1950 TO SEPTEM-
BER 30, 1951, IN THE ANUUNT OF
$1092756.20."
was unanimously passed.
Consideration was given to the amount of taxes needed to
carry out the budget and on motion of Mr. Simons, seconded by Mr.
Beatty, the following resolution was unanimously passed.
Resolution No. 14
"A RESOLUTION 02 THE COUNCIL OF BAL HARBOUR
VILLAGE, FLORIDA, MAKING A TAX LEVY FOR THE
TAX YEAR 1950, AND FIRING THE MILLAGE ON
REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE VILLAGE AT
TEN (10) MILLS."
There being no further business before the meeting on motion
duly made, seconded and carried the meeting adjourned.
