ORDINANCE NO. 86-,0.-31 ADOPTED June 25~ 1986
AN ORDINANCE: ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL AFTER JULY 1, 1986
WHEREAS, annual compensation of mayor and councilmembers has been $6,000 and
$4,200, respectively, since July 1, 1984:
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. Section 2-91 of the Town Code is amended as follows:
Section 2-91. Mayor and councilmembers' salaries.
Compensation of the mayor and members of council, after July 1, ~
1986 shall be $~ ~500 and $~-~ 6~000 per annum, respectively, payable
in equal monthly installments.
This ordinance shall be in effect July 1, 1986.
All prior ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith are
SECTION II.
SECTION III.
repealed.
