AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3,
1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No.
2325-1968, designates and describes as R-3, ONE TO EIGHT FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT, the following described property located at
1803 and 1829 East Main Street in the City of Richmond, Indiana,
more particularly described as follows:
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, in that part of Linden Hill
adjoining the City of Richmond, and now a part
of the City of Richmond, laid out by John P.
Smith, et al.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change
the zoning classification of the above described area from R-3 to
C-2.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the
Richmond City Plan Commission the date of ,
1976 at which time remonstrances were heard from all parties interested
in or affected by this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was
to in favor of/in opposition to recommending the passage
of Ordinance No. 3057-1976.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the
above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to C-2,
Community Business District, and that said property be regulated in
accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
and all amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as by law required.
SECTION 7. The original zoning classification of the aforementioned
area is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification of this area will
be in accordance with Section 2 of this Ordinance.

The public hearing scheduled for 5:00 p.m, Friday,,February 27,
1976, in the Council Chambers of the Richmond Municipal Building
to hear the request of TAT Realty, 100 South 12th Street, Rich-
mond, Indiana, represented by Bowen, Cecere, O'Maley & Tripp,
P.C., 101 South loth Street, Richmond, Indiana, requesting
Ordinance 3057-1976 requesting zoning be changed from R-3 to
