CITY PLAN COMMISSION RICHMOND, INDIANA 1 "4500 February 12, 1976 Mr. Kenneth Mills., President Members of the Common Council & Mrs. Jo Ellen Trimble, City Clerk Municipal Building Richmond, Indiana 47374 Re: Ordinance No. 3058-1976, Plan Commis- sion Case No. 76-1, a request to change zoning from R-3 to R-2. Dear Mr. Mills, Members of the Council & Mrs. Trimble: The Richmond City Plan Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday, February 10, 1976, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Richmond Municipal Building, to hear the request of Richmond Board of Works 50 North 5th Street, represented by Mr. Robert Reinke, Atto requesting zoning be changed from R-3 to C-2 on property located at 16 North 16th Street and 1515 North "A" Street. The proposed use of this property is to engage in a garage for service operation only. All parties interested in or affected by this request were heard. One (1) person was present at the hearing who spoke without opposition, but his concern was parking. Neighbors in the area were contacted. There were no objections and their only concern was parking. The code requires a minimum of eight (8) off street parking facilities. Mr. Klinge, Attorney for the potential purchaser, assured the Commission that there is enough property within and around the building to exceed the requirement. The Plan Commission voted seven (7) to zero (0) to approve the rezoning and forward the request to Common Council. Respectfully submitted, DEPARTMENT OF CITY PLANNING Robert B.
