HomeMy Public PortalAbout3075-1976 - AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL USE IN LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTORDINANCE NO. 3075-1976 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE" IN A M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, OF ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 CMUNLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICfMND, INDIANA, ADOPTED = 3, 1968. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana., as follows: SECTION 1. As provided in Article 22, Section 22.01 and more speci- fically provided in Article 48 of Ordinance No. 2325-1968, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the following described use of the following described real estate is allowed as a Special Use for Auto Salvage located at 1101 South "Q" Street, in the City of Richmond, Indiana; more particularly described; to wit: Being a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 13 North, Range 1 West, in the City of Richmond, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the north line of said Southwest Quarter, said point being 1072.35 feet East of the North- west corner of said Southwest Quarter, and running thence from said beginning point South 30 32' East 180.21 feet; thence East parallel to the north line of said Southwest Quarter 25.89 feet; thence South 30 32' East 323 feet to a point in the fence in the north right-of-way line of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad; thence North 860 25' West along the chord of a curve to the right in said north right-of-way line a chord distance of 317.8 feet to the southeast corner of land conveyed to Richard Hilling on March 9, 1954; thence North 100 40' West 197.42 feet; thence North 770 59' East 87.80 feet; thence North 20 53' West 223.5 feet to the north line of said Southwest Quarter; thence East along the north line of said Southwest Quarter 202.05 feet to the place of beginning. SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an additional restriction on said use, the following requirements shall hereafter and at all times be met by the owner, leasee or any person, firm or corporation using such real estate. SECTION 3. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond, Indiana, is hereby authorized and directed, upon enactment and publication of this Ordinance, to record and approve the issuance of a permit for the establishment of the use herein allowed. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and affect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor, and publication is by law required.
