HomeMy Public PortalAbout3089-1976- TRANSFER WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION BUDGETORUINANCE'N0:'3089-1976 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WrTHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION BUDGET THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($5,300.00) FROM P-57 BUILDING AND FIXED IMPROVEMENTS (PROPERTIES)TO P-27-RENTAL OF EQUIPMENT (SERVICES CONTRACTUAL) $800.00 AND FROM P-44 BITUMINOUS MATERIALS (MATERIALS) TO P-33 OTHER GARAGE AND MOTOR SUPPLIES (SUPPLIES)$1,500.00 AND FROM P-40 SEEDS SHRUBS AND FERTILIZER. (SUPPLIES) TO P-42 CHEMICALS (SUPPLIES) $3,000.00. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of fthe existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for various functions of the City Government than was appropriated to the annual budget. SECTION 1., BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1976 the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same., Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures to be made during the year unless expressly stipulated by law. SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period there is hereby appropriated the following specified amount to meet the extra- ordinary emergency that exists: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED TO.P-27 RENTAL OF EQUIPMENT (SERVICES CONTRACTUAL) $800.00 $800.00 TO P-33 OTHER GARAGE & MOTOR SUPPLIES (SUPPLIESI 1,500.00 1,500.00 TO P-42 CHEMICALS (SUPPLIES) 3,000:00 3,000.00 TOTAL $5,300.00 $5,300.00 SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose which appropriated. The :Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 8089-197E , Councilman E1stro.moved for engrossment of Ordinance No. 3089-1976, seconded by Councia man Wit liams and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
