A RESOLUTION: AMENDING THE CALENDAR YEAR 2020 TOWN COUNCIL
MEETING SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the Town Council traditionally meets in formal session on the second and
fourth Tuesday in each month, and sits as a "committee of the whole" on the Monday preceding
the regular council meeting in the Council Chambers, 25 West Market Street; and
WHEREAS, due to the spread ofCOVID-19, the Town Council intends to cancel all
Monday Council Work Sessions in April 2020 and May 2020 including April 13, April 27, and
May 11; and
WHEREAS, all agenda items previously scheduled for the April 2020 and May 2020
work sessions will be discussed at a later time in the calendar year; and
WHEREAS, with exception of these amendments, Town Resolution 2019-178 will still
apply for the remainder of calendar year 2020.
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia that the following Monday Work Sessions in calendar year 2020 are cancelled: April
13, April 27, and May 11.
