The Medina Planning Commission met in special_ session on
April .3 at 8 P.M. at the Medina Village. Hall. with Chairman
Bob Roehl presiding.
Members present: Bob Roehl, Tam.. Stevens, Everett Thies,
Ted Lockwood, and Anne Dorweiler.
Also present: Building Inspectors Gerald Dykhoff and Russell
Bouley Jr..
Mr_. Gene Sullivan of Wright Hennepin Electric Coop appeared to
request a special use permit to build an office and service
building on their property on the S. E. corner of the intersection
of Highway 55 and Medina 87 which is presently zoned C2.
The commission members questioned whether such.a permit was
necessary since the proposed building seemed to fit most approp-
riately in the C2 category. But to avoid any possible problem
in the future., the following action was taken:
Everett Thies moved that we recommend to the councilthat a
special use permit be granted to Wright Hennepin Co-op to build
the office and service building on said described property..
Tom Stevens seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
Tom Stevens moved that the meeting be adjourned.
Everett Thies seconded the motion.
The meeting was adjourned.
