HomeMy Public PortalAbout3113-1976- APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF 603368 FROM THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUNDPrescribed by State Board of Accounts City Budget Form ORDINANCE NO. 3113�1976 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF SIX HUNDRED THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY EIGHT DOLLARS ($603,368..00) FROM THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSE OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND OF SAID CITY FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1977 BUDGETING THE SAME, LIMITING THE USE THEREOF AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT. SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that hereby and there is hereby appropriated the sum of $603,368.00 to the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund of said City, and that the same shall be set apart and budgeted for the various items and expenditures as follows: MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND BUDGET FOR 1977 1. Other Equipment 3,000 29,000 TOTAL 603,368 SECTION 2. That all said expenditures as provided for in Section 1, shall be made and performed between January 1, 1977 and December 31, 1977, inclusive. SECTION 3. That said monies as appropriated and budgeted are restricted solely to and for the use of construction, re -construction and maintenance of the streets and alleys of the City of Richmond, Indiana, pursuant to Chapter 278 Acts of 1959' passed by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, the signature of the President affixed and the approval of the Mayor of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
