AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO
THE VOTERS OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS A
SPECIAL QUESTION CONCERNING A MUNICIPAL SWIMMING
POOL TO BE VOTED ON AT THE TIME OF GENERAL CITY
ELECTION IN 1987, AND PROVIDING A NOTICE BE GIVEN
TO THE ELECTION COMMISSIONER FOR SEDGWICK COUNTY,
KANSAS FOR THE PLACING OF THE SPECIAL QUESTION ON
THE BALLOT.
BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE:
Section 1: SPECIAL QUESTION TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE
ELECTORS:
The following special question is to be submitted to the
voters of the voters of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas and
placed upon the ballot at the time of the General City
Election to be held on the 7th day of April, 1987, to wit;
"Shall the following be adopted?"
Should Bel Aire have a municipal swimming pool? Yes
No
Section 2: NOTICE TO THE ELECTION COMMISSIONER:
The City Clerk shall transmit a copy of this Ordinance
to the Election Commissioner for Sedgwick, County, Kansas, for
the giving of notice,and preparation of the ballots for the
submission of said Special Question to the electors of the
City of Bel Aire at the City General Election on the 7th day
of April,1987, in conformity with the Laws of the State of
Kansas.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE:
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication in the official City Newspaper.
