Dear President Mills, Members of the Common Council & Mrs. Txi'mble;
The Richmond Planning Commission held a public bearing on.
October 26, 1976, to hear the request of George and Janet
Reller, to rezone the property, at 1017 South "A"` Street
from R-3 (1 to 8 family Residential] to C-3 (Central Buaiaess-
District).
All parties interested or affected by this petition were gi)ren
an opportunity to speak. No one appeared in opppsition to the
request.
The Planning Commission made the determination that this re-
zoning request would be a natural extension of the business
classification that surrounds this propet:y on the east, west
and north sides.
The Planning Commission voted unanimously (7-0) to recommend
approval of this petition to Common Council.
Commissioners Austerman and Conley were not present at this
hearing.
