A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY TERMINATING ANNEXATION
NO. 6 -A WEST TEMPLE CITY UPON MAJORITY PRO-
TEST BEING MADE
The City Council of the City of Temple City does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. On July 22, 1963, at 8 :00 P. M. a public
hearing was held at the City Hall upon Annexation 6 -A West Temple
City to determine the sufficiency of any protest to said proposed
inhabited annexation pursuant to Section 35121 of the Government
Code; that upon there appearing to be protest to said annexation
sufficient to cause termination of same, but without verification
thereof from the assessment rolls, the public hearing upon said
annexation matter was continued to the next regular meeting of the
City Council on August 12, 1963, at 8 :00 P. M.
SECTION 2. On August 12, 1963, at 8:00 P. M. the con-
tinued public hearing on Annexation 6 -A West Temple City, Inhabited,
was reopened and it was determined at said time and place, after
duly closing said public hearing, that a majority protest was filed
pursuant to Section 35121 of the Government Code.
SECTION 3. All annexation proceedings of the City of
Temple City relating to Annexation 6 -A West Temple City, Inhabited,
are hereby ordered terminated pursuant to provisions of Section
35121 of the Government Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Temple City at a regular meeting thereof held on this 26th day of
August, 1963, by the following called vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Nunamaker
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
