ADOPTED September 27, 1988 AMENDING THE TOWN CODE TO ESTABLISH A CENTRAL ABSENTEE VOTER ELECTION DISTRICT FOR TOWN ELECTIONS WHEREAS, the town has received a request from the Loudoun County Electoral Board to establish a central absentee voter election district (CAVED) for town elections; and WHEREAS, the establishment of a CAVED is provided for under ;Section 24.1-233.1 of the Code of Virginia; and WHEREAS, the electoral board indicates that a CAVED will provide effec- tive and appropriate control over the administration of absentee ballots in town elections: THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: SECTION I. Chapter 6 of the Town Code, Elections, is hereby amended by adding the following: Sec. 6-3. Central Absentee Voter Election District Sec. 6-3. A Central Absentee Voter Election District (CAVED) for all town elections shall be located at the General Registrar's Office Building, 109 Harrison Street, N.E., Leesburg, Virginia. SECTION II.
