HomeMy Public PortalAboutPC Resolution 2015-06-01 Recommending Approval of the Development Permit for Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply FRASER PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2015-06-01 A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR MURDOCH'S RANCH & HOME SUPPY LOCATED AT 541 SOUTH ZEREX STREET IN THE TOWN OF FRASER MORE LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Parcel I, A RESUBDIVISION OF TRACTS "A" AND "B" OF A RESUBDIVISION OF PARCEL "C" OF FOREST MEADOWS SOLAR COMMUNITY, according to the Plat thereof filed November 17, 1983 at Reception No. 209971, County of Grand, State of Colorado. Parcel II, A RESUBDIVISION OF TRACTS "A" AND "B" OF A RESUBDIVISION OF PARCEL "C" OF FOREST MEADOWS SOLAR COMMUNITY, according to the Plat thereof filed November 17, 1983 at Reception No. 209971, County of Grand, State of Colorado. At the special meeting of the Fraser Planning Commission held on June 10, 2015, DTJ Design, representing Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply, requested recommendation of approval for a Development Permit for property located on US Highway 40, more legally described above; and WHEREAS, Winter Boat LLC is the current owner of said property and has authorized and approved the submission of the Development Permit application filed by DTJ Design on behalf of Murdoch's; and WHEREAS, DTJ Design is requesting Development Permit approval to renovate the existing building for a new entry, add an enclosed outdoor storage area and restripe the existing parking in accordance with the proposed site improvements and exterior elevations detailed on the DTJ Design Fraser Valley Center Renovation Plan Set dated June 3, 2015; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Fraser Planning Commission has voted to recommend approval of the Development Permit based on the representations made at the June 10, 2015 Planning Commission meeting and in accordance with the documentation that has been reviewed by the Town of Fraser with the following conditions: 1. An off-site snow storage agreement shall be required to be provided to the Town of Fraser prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply. 2. The existing Veterans' Memorial located within the proposed outside storage area shall be relocated to a new off-site location to be coordinated and approved by the Town of Fraser.
