AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING SECTION 10-171 OF THE TOWN CODE TO ADD ADDITIONAL
METERED PARKING ON I,IRERTY STREET
WHEREAS, construction of the Municipal Government Center will require that additional parking
spaces be provided in the downtown area; and
WHEREAS, the existing public works facility on the south end of Liberty Street will be vacated
and relocated to the new facility on Route 7; and
WHEREAS, the old public works facility will be converted to a parking facility:.
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Section 10-171 of the Town Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
(12) Municipal parking area on the south end of Liberty Street, for three-hour parking, exceot
spaces designated for permit-only parking.

Ail prior ordinm~ces and resolutions in conflict herewith are repealed.
This ordinance shall be effective upon completion of the Liberty Street parking
