WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for the various functions of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COfflON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICH• NOWD, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its insti- tutions for the year ending December 31, 1975, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum Aing subject to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by I aw. SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the Cumulative Storm Sewer Fund the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency hereby declared to exist: XIOUNT RgQUESTED AMOUNT APPROPRIATED STORM SEWER, SOUTH 16TH STREET $17,000.00 $17,600.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. Absent: Hilton , The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of and Januarv,�9 5 . Said notices stated that a public hearing yr uld he held on the 20t�h. day of _�anuary, 1975 , by the Common Council to consider additionaVappropria- ons as Provided or in Ordinance No, 2976-1975 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Geier moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be receive and —ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Marino , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 2976-1975 Councilman Marino moved for engrossment of Ordinance No. 2976-1975, seconded by Councilman Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. Councilman Marino moved for suspension of the rules and read Ordinance No. 2976-1975 on third reading by title only, seconded by Councilman Mills and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on third reading by title only Ordinance No. 2976-1975.
